The world is full of kind people
There’s plenty of room to roam
The earth belongs to us all
Find value in your home
The world our home to view
Has something for you to do
Mother Earth has given you beauty
To spread it is your duty
If you are smart and know this too
Then there is kindness in you
To give the gift of compassion
Means you have been a receiver
For once you are touched
You then become a believer
We learn from the acts of others
The power of love is immense
To turn it on and face the hate
This kindness is your defence
Humanity deserves the best
We all have to contribute
With kindness comes peace
And this you cannot dispute

Be the human you are meant to be
Kindness is the hand that never clenches
Kindness is the mind that never closes
Kindness is the manner of true friendship
Kindness is the winner in all that imposes

To be a soldier in ruined fields
That wind once swept the green
The guns cry, never yield
Those winds are never seen
Soldier’s’ eyes are immensely searching
The hills beyond are pale
Smoke of pain everywhere is rising
The soldier cries forth a wail
Anguish temper leaves his lips
How dare the other do this
The bullet in his side; it rips
This soldier my brother, I will miss
Cannons blasting through the air
Have killed the men we love
Those soldiers lying everywhere
Are prayed for up above

I thank the stars for my dear freedom
I’m overwhelmed and think of those
Who also marched the same twilight
And now they lie in rows
To lay down a life so I can have mine
The selfless gift of youth
There’s no greater way to show love
When risking for charity’s truth
I want to sing with all my heart
And thank you for all of this
Because of you dear soldier
I find my burdens less
The stars I see in the sky at night
Are the same once seen by them
They shine, guide and twinkle bright
And remind me of freedom again

In order to listen
You need to be silent
Same letters in each

S I L E N T
When you pay attention
To the sound of silence
What was the sound
That sent this reference
What comes first
Silence or sound
In the absence of one
The other is found
There is never silence
In the noise of thoughts
To observe you listen
In the mind’s hotspots
A quiet approach
Not knowing is fear
Avoiding the sound
The listener hears
Before and after
It is in the middle
For silence observed
When noise is still
To listen here
You look for the silent
To turn off noise
Is to quiet the giant
The noise in your mind
Without observing
Is forever the loudest
And always serving
To hear in the absence
Of noise confound
The fact that silence
Makes a sound
For Peace of mind
You have to LISTEN
Rearrange words
And spell out SILENT
The mind at peace
Lives in the SILENT
The world in peace
Wants you to LISTEN
To listen we learn
Repeat the words
And talk to teach
What we observe
One cannot learn
In silence alone
Without the sounds
We all do own
To listen to silence
And learn from sound
In the time it takes
To turn it around

Insurance is like a crutch
You don’t need it very much
It helps but a little
And robs you a lot
And controls the drivers clutch
To drive in a car is a privilege
To walk on your own is freedom
The rate of increase
Or walk in it’s place
Every year they increase the premium
You need to shop around
Most people are on the ground
To work from remote
You increase my quote
And this I am most astound
At a time when we need help
No mercy from you is felt
If it wasn’t for you
I’d have more to get through
And not have these words to yelp
Dear insurance conglomerate
Please get rid of it
Without any papers
We feel like wafers
And mentally full of sh..t
It’s not a joke
I’m ready to choke
No justification
For your decision
When so many are already broke

It’s the happiness provider
And travels in a hurry

And seek to make a difference
Be the love in kindness
The effects will be immense
Kindness we can offer
Help we also give
Loving one another
In life that’s all there is
It doesn’t need a reason
It’s present every day
It is the hidden power
That magic will display
It’s really hard to do
So don’t forget yourself
The one inside of you
Also needs this help
If you’re down and blue
And feeling out of place
Look for something kind
In the mirror on your face
When you look at glass
There’s more behind the pain
What’s shattered in one way
Has two ways to be seen
Here you see the picture
Of what others think is true
Whatever you are hiding
The mirror reveals to you
To know kindness exists
And wish in it for you
Answer this demand
Of loving yourself to
The more we give we feel
And receive internal sight
It’s the change we want to see
