‼️GREED GOT IN THE WAY‼️

Greed got in the way

Now the earth has to pay

Not only this but people too

We have to clean up after you

This greed has made a giant mess

And now so many fight of this

Massive fires, flooding water

Plastic oceans, days are hotter

Leader corruption, war and crime

Many people stand in line

Tired, hungry, homeless shelter

Poverty and health disaster

Mental mindsets disarrayed

Ignorant words are conveyed

Old school thoughts close the mind

Abuse and trolls are unkind

This earth it had much to give

Only so that we could live

Poor people on the planet now

Are looking far to see somehow

What is the answer to their why

As they pass the ones that cry

What we need to do is see

How we can offer dignity

It’s not that hard to reinstate

It was here before the hate

Anointed so at our birth

Granted by our Mother Earth!

Hello is a start

Forget good bye

Here you are

And so am I

To wonder

Is to feel

It’s belief

That is real

To walk or run

Is movement blessed

Don’t forget

To stop and rest

The morning’s garden

In full bloom

Clears the mind

And makes more room

The lessons in life

Greatly teach

Pull at our hearts

Where they reach

When we surrender

Accept it too

No other garden

Will ever do

Other beings

Come and go

Offer canes

To help us so

The times you trip

And start to prance

Are the times

You learn to dance

For every move

Where there’s a downer

There lies within

A close encounter

For a moment

Mesmerized

You just became

Hypnotized

Lying low on mother earth

The ground is in your face

It’s only here you can learn

The power of her grace

Without the pain

Of falling down

What lies beneath

Won’t be found

This mother here

Right where you fall

Will help you stand

And support you all

Too many times

We do forget

Many buried

In her sublet

The ones before

Rest assured

Reach out to you

With her beside

One gives hope

And one gives faith

They both lift you

And love is brave

After standing

You look down

What made you look

And find your crown

You’re not all better

Nothing is fine

You never know

What’s in store

If you stay

In the before

The heaving chest

With its billow

Needs the comfort

Of a pillow

It’s so Devine

Rejuvenating

Happy too

Exhilarating

Each day anew

Will become

The day before

When it is done

What is the best

In every day

Tomorrow’s vision

Here today

Hope is grand

And faith’s belief

Love does help

Us with our grief

We’re on our own

On this planet

Better yet

It’s just a visit

When we’re done

It’s time to go

After living

This I know

To a place

This I see

Joining others

A new journey

Here on the earth

I did not know them

But loved them all

Within this mayhem

All here we are

But cannot see

Or know the time

It comes for thee

Billions here

We cannot count

And those before

This great amount

With our arriving

Till the end

Mercy’s gift

Our maker sends

For with our constant

Evolution

I have come to this

conclusion

So many leaders

From the start

Ignored the leader

In their heart

Confusion started

Something grew

Heavy hearts

Were cut in two

What is today

In front of you

From the old

What they did do

And this I say

To be contraire

But are we meant

To pay this fare

‼️TO WALK WITH NOW‼️

I knocked on your door

I rang the doorbell

I was here for some time

And then I moved on

I sat on the steps

And looked at my phone

I called your number

In front of your home

Sometimes we walk

And meet in the street

We see much more

Looking up from our feet

I searched the place

That you liked to hang

But when I was there

My cellphone rang

Excitement exploded

I was quick to recover

But faster than lightning

Was shatter discovered

I was deflated

The caller true

I ignored it

It wasn’t you

I did not know

Nor could I see

The process that was

And meant to be

So up from my crouch

I stretched my leg

Friendships are done

If we have to beg

Ignorance defence

Is my attribution

Ego did seek

To find a solution

It’s pointless to hurt

When you don’t know

Why they left

Or had to go

The best remedy

To help me move on

Was to know that I did

All I could have done

I held out my hand

I showed up too

I tried to help

I did and continue

The purpose here

The value in we

To each other must show

This dignity

To awake every day

I no longer dismiss

The reason I’m here

In all of this

No fee do I ask

No payments received

I share as I care

And I believed

Now I keep walking

From past to the future

What makes the now live

Is just feeling better

There’s no definition

Wait! “Google” I say

The noun of a number

To do as a verb

This ‘googlers’ a runner

Webster’s, Oxford

Urban and Scrabble

So many words

That we all babble

According to my digest

The words that I gather

For my composition

‘Firstly’ do matter

The word most regarded

It’s not of no regard

And often misused

‘Irregardless’ is hard

Some words I make up

And phrase with an “ish”

My poetic license

Allows me of this

As I sit and I write

You ‘prolly’ don’t know

There’res words that exist

And probably don’t show

When one word is used

It ‘literally’ makes sense

When virtually you mean

To sit on a fence

What’s ‘funner’ to me

On days that are rough

Is no fun to you

My language is tough

Are you still here?

‘Anyways’ there are more

So many words

For you to explore

Before you scramble

To cyber space great
