As sudden as a sound
When you freeze in time
Something grabs your soul
And trembles in your spine

Perhaps you’re so inclined
To entertain this touch
Sometimes we do not notice
We’re too busy doing much

A sound from deep within
Keeps playing on your mind
They are the echos warning
You left something behind

The more you turn away
And hide within your shelter
The stronger they become
A never ending hunter

If you try to answer
A sound you cannot hear
Sometimes it really helps
To use your mind’s sightseer

When your soul is singing
It’s entertaining answers
The rhythm and the beat
Heart’s song is for the dancers

Lapsing in the moment
The dancer on her own
All the other dancers
Left and all went home

The stage in your nightmare
The sound of marching feet
You only have a moment
When the soul secretes

Forward to the sunset
Onward to the night
A dancer with her passion
Denies with all her might

There outside the door
Your mighty fist is formed
More power in the wrist
When you are just ignored

The music we all hear
And many we will mingle
The dancer with her dream
Always dances single

Algorithms, notices,

Cyber city is a curse

All the mentions

Need a nurse

Everywhere

I shoot my gun

Even try

To have some fun

What I find

So bemusing

In this land

It’s confusing

I cannot stop

My laughter too

When I see

There is you

Staring hard

At linkedin cop

All the posts

That he does stop

When you tag

A friend or few

It’s off to jail

You are through

When I’m in jail

This cyber prison

I have to thank

The #algorithm

If I comply

It doesn’t matter

What I like

Is all the chatter

No matter what

I have my guns

I will not stop

My many puns

Oh the data

For my feed

Killing me

I don’t need

Social platform

Is this prism

Feels to me

Like communism

So if you happen

To see me

Drop a line

And comfort me

I do believe

That if we care

It is much better

When we share!

We all have those  moments…

When something from the past

Creeps into the present

And hits us really fast

Before we even know it

We enter memory’s bank

And withdraw some amount

The overdraft just sank

It doesn’t matter when

It cannot tell the time

Every memory tries

To bug us all sometime

So here’s a piece of interest

It’s one I just regret

It only mustered up

I wanted to forget

But then I thought of others

And what they too go through

So then I just invested

And wrote some words for you

Something I can promise me

And only you to self

Is that when it’s all over

There’s really something else.

Sometimes it’s really better

Unless it gets much worse

But every memory has

A reason to immerse 

They often aren’t invited 

The ones we like to lose

And harder to remember

When clouded with abuse

Sometimes there is a warning

A reminder can be kind

It really helps you see

The crap you left behind

So sometimes just remember

And see how far you’ve come

It really doesn’t matter

All growth is still income

And don’t perform

Out in life

Where it’s hard

Other beings

Check your card

Look at them

Checking you

Stay inside

Is what you do

Paranoia

Your best friend

Unless you enter

It won’t end

In the comfort

Of your zone

This is your place

Your royal home

Never see

Outside lights

Many days

And endless nights

Oh poor me

I have a headache

Mercy me

Now a toothache

Can’t remember

Anything

Stay inside

And do nothing

Time becomes

An endless battle

So many sheep

You need cattle

In a moment

You know you must

Step outside

And just trust

You’ll get through this

Tell your ego

Step up a bit

It won’t be evil

Precious child

Beautiful people

Come outside

Climb up that hill

Don’t look down

Don’t look up

No matter what

Don’t give up

All the bad

You imagine

Isn’t real

Slay that dragon

I stepped out

Of my zone

I went out

All alone

And what I found

I was amazed

When I discovered

That I was dazed

Now I’m better

Just for doing

You can to

Keep pursuing

Any steps

Are still movement

Every one

Is improvement

Now I’ve told you

I’ve done this

What you do

Is your remiss

It’s ok

To check on out

Just don’t stay

Where you pout

‼️THERE IS A CURE‼️

The balance sometimes

Seems so out of whack

Like all that we know

Is under attack

The sun and it’s warmth

The earth’s protection

Showers of rain

The plants are soaking

Too much of one

Denies all the others

There are just times

To many mothers

To take what we need

To leave all the rest

For others to have

This is the best

When things of pleasure

Entered the picture

What was short lived

Became the best feature

The hunger it grew

Because it was fed

Too many notions

Of what was ahead

Beware the ingredients

The hands with the med

Money will lie

Like a bedspread

To cover the body

To hide from a view

When really the planet

Could take care of you

Cosy and warm

The sun and it’s rays

Cleansing oceans

To wash germs away

The soil with seeds

And cared for by nature

Whispering winds

Warned of disaster

Too many years

And so many greeds

Over and over

The abuse of these deeds

Untouched by the hand

Considered so pure

My dear in your mind

There is a real cure

We come and go
And many we meet
Always smile
To those we greet
Sometimes they too
Smile at you
Sometimes they don’t
Know what to do..

Some don’t know
Help them to grow
Some are blind
To them be kind
Some are crying
Show them who’s dying
Some are shy
Tell them why
Some will judge
Give them a nudge
Some are busy
Tell them your dizzy
Some look away
Show them a way
Some need help
Say how you felt
Some pretend
Be their friend
Some are mean
To them be clean
Some don’t care
To them do share

Some will respond
To you with a bond
Some will accuse
Don’t offer amuse

Some like to steal
From creatives so real
And carry on so
Like they don’t know

Some refuse your shout
When you call them out
Their post’s a revision
Of your own ammunition

To create every day
And to be proud in a way
It really does stink
When others can’t think

All stealing is wrong
It doesn’t belong
It’s just best to honour
What some have to offer

Some are not nice
Take your own advice
It’s simply ok
To walk away

The right of dignity
Is truly humanity
