Whatever happened
To love so true

If what was wrong
Was my fault
Why didn’t you
Tell this adult

Perhaps the truth
You cannot see
If you don’t know
The whole story

Love encased
Within a heart
It doesn’t know
How to start

The outer limits
So many vessels
There’s only one
Amongst the devils

Undetermined
Unexpected
Undiluted
Interjected

A tonne of weight
Can’t be measured
It’s just too heavy
When it’s treasured

If it’s kept
Inside your heart
Even after
People part

If to another
It is given
If it’s not real
It is forbidden

The pain alone
A single dose
Addresses hate
Within the host

To venture on
Without a love
Is just a cast
To dispose of

Inward reflection
Charismatic
This is the love
That isn’t tragic

To love thyself
You must abolish
All the hearsay
And demolish

No matter what
The definition
What you believe
Is your rendition

It’s true we shouldn’t

And we mustn’t

Ever pass

Bitter judgement

It’s hard indeed

When we proceed

Upward hence

From planted seed

Most difficult

Is the result

If the past

We do consult

It isn’t fair

To compare

To all others

Everywhere

It is annoying

When you’re toying

To a thought

That is destroying

Most absurd

Is a word

Painful too

When it’s slurred

Such disgrace

In this place

Behind the screen

Of your face

Knowledge helps

When it yelps

Beware of this

When it’s felt

To entertain

In the rain

Isn’t always

Where you gain

Mindful matters

History chatters

Here we are

Ever afters

Oh it’s hard

Holding cards

Without a balance

I am the dancer

This is me

Oh dear brain

You are free

You must figure

And compute

There is so much

That you dispute

I’ll dance right past you

Raise my tempo

You will search

What you don’t know

What equation

Is this sequence

Some kind of math

Is your preference

Ha! Ha! I smile

And I just laugh

You can’t find

A simple path

Let me help you

Here’s a clue

It’s right here

Just beside you

This is the mind

That’s feeding you

If you stop

It sings too

Unfortunately

There is a catch

In this mind

There is a latch

I the dancer

Move around

When you can’t hear

Is there still sound?

I the dancer

Do not keep still

I cannot rest

I like this thrill

If you dear brain

Know I exist

Why do you search

For what resists?

So brief this moment

Spent with you

You are immersed

In what you do

So I will leave

My dancing shoes

Visit my home

With all my moves

In case you need

A point of view

I’m in your mind

In front of you

If you stop

Somewhere brewing

That makes me dance

Here’s the secret

For you perchance

The facts remain

When there’s a bug

How come we always feel

Everything is hard

This negativity

When it all began

Right from the start

This little voice inside

Overrode you’re heart

It creeped into your mind

And whispered in your ear

It clouded your outlook

And took away your cheer

The situations faced

No failures here are true

All the circumstances

Are lessons brought to you

All of your endurance

Is running at full speed

Trying to find out

Everything you need

It takes a lot of courage

For you to find your roar

The quicksand you fell in

Is swallowing some more

In you there is some bravery

It’s needed when there’s evil

What matters is your view

And memorie’s retrieval

The common sense of truth

Is something that will prove

In all that’s said and done

It’s only what you choose

There is a common factor

In any situation

There is no right or wrong

And always a solution

A delighted task complete

A tortured mind’s result
