‼️YOUR CAPE‼️ There is a fear That manifests Beneath the robe Of depressed Here it sits Ready to pounce It never stops It won’t announce When you are low And hitting walls Slowly fear Starts it’s crawl As you fall It catches you It’s hungry fangs Dig right through What flesh protects Is exposed The razors edge Releases blows You can’t control The heavy burden Cutting deep The evil sermon Pressure here Less to feel But when you cut It is real The ground becomes The tempting bed Where you can’t move Your aching head Why get up It’s just no use To stand again And see abuse Then the fear Dissipates It thinks it’s done No rebates Until the final Breath is drawn Something else Is going on Mighty winds From angel wings Swoop to you And voices sing To those who know And see the light They grab the hope From Angels flight To those without Their burden was Too much to bear They need God’s love They did not, Choose to undo The fear in them Was stronger too Do not condemn What you don’t know We do not choose When we must go It’s predetermined And for certain Only God Draws the curtain Every child He does love Those with no one Rise above To teach us all And evermore To add some value To those so dear Every being Has potential It’s not always Circumstantial What’s in the mind Can be lost Without the guide The heart is tossed Without love To hold and cherish Hope is the last It too will perish If you should ask If one is well There’s always more For them to tell But what we need All of us Is to accept That life is rough We need to listen And not to yell Silent suffering Murders well Without a hope When fear creeps in Losing life Is not a sin If perhaps You think I ramble But when you fall I will scramble Only know That one day The fear you have May come to stay At these times The cloak is heavy But with others It’s less scary When you get up And you escape My dear your cloak Is now your cape #PaulaG
