In bed in the dark
Rolled over my side
I look all around
The absence of sound

I take my deep breaths
And release all the bad
With my head’s final nod
Was my prayer to my God

Stretched out in a pose
Holding my pillows
It’s hard to unwind
If you’re hurt in your mind

Another dark night
No fear left in me
So many questions
Unheard confessions

Then for a moment
An aha! unto to me
I really am special
I beat the bad devil

How did I do it
I’ll review right here
It’s really amazing
And worth embracing

Trust in the goodness
Rebuke all the bad
The time and the distance
Will feed your resistance

Silence is golden
When thoughts are soothed
Everything happens
All matter in atoms

What you can’t measure
Is beyond all reason
Believe in your vision
And make this revision

To think in the dark
And hear from within
You need of this only
And find you’re not lonely

In the space all around you
Are things you can’t see
But inside of yourself
Is a bounty of wealth

The words you think
The ones you read
Always remember
Don’t always surrender

What you have lived
Is over and done
There’s more in store
For you to live for
