Not all receivers
Understand

And start to shout
With the volume
And the tone
It doesn’t help
When you moan
In your heart
Be as it may
There is love
That pleads this way
Feeling desperate
Spewing words
To hurting souls
They won’t be heard
Instead erase
Just breathe with them
Embrace the silence
They will begin
Allow the one
Who looks at you
To find a reason
To hold you too
If they are near
The doors of solace
They need the time
To just acknowledge
It’s hard to stand
And look down
Watching others
As they drown
Don’t walk away
It’s not a choice
Let them hear
Your peaceful voice
In this approach
They will condone
Another presence
They aren’t alone
You know the pierce
Of daggers sharp
You want to share
But do not harp
A padded pillow
Meant for rest
Soaked with tears
From the chest
Support is here
Helping too
Quiet pillows
Talk to you
As the wailing
Does decrease
Crying time
It will cease
Upon the skin
And cleaner eyes
Approach them now
They need this prize
A gentle touch
And loving stroke
Subsides the sound
Retreating choke
Sent from silence
Soulful words
Never said
But they have stirred
Later on
After confusion
Without judgement
There’s profusion
Another life
Who shares with you
Grants you access
To share yours too
As you listen
In this silence
You can hear
The heartbeat sirens
Raw and loud
They become
And with yours too
All pain undone
Sacred people
And their souls

As one who has trained and coached, mentored and taught; it has become a passion within to witness and feel joy in the achievement and success of others that I have been associated with.
