The many homes

And all the places

Mother Earth

For all the races

A sprawling garden

Cardboard box

A room inside

Without locks

We may own

Some do rent

Others squat

Trailers lent

The daily wage

Most relied on

Now is gone

What will they ride on

Jobless now

Among the many

Know the value

Of a penny

Why we care

And why we pray

What you want

Was in the way

Oh the rich

Are broken now

And the poor

Don’t care somehow

It doesn’t matter

If your famous

No life is better

This is the start

There will be more

Most revealing

What’s in store

The way of life

From history

Has much to offer

This we’ll see

All is gone

We ever knew

Starting over

All of you

Those with dollars

Are those with collars

Common man?

Whatever happened

To superman?

When it gets tough

Some run and hide

Courageous ones

Now reside

To lend support

And give a hand

More empathy

They understand

Those you thought

Would help you

Are the first

To forget too

All the actors

On the stage

Without lines

They can’t engage

All the stores

And their goods

No one cares

Some sales are floods

If there’s help

Not all will get

No technology

Now the crime

Is catching on

This will rise

It is not done

How to help

6 feet away

Promoting safety

Stay away

This is just

The very beginning

The biggest challenge

To all the living

On your mark

Was weeks ago

Get set was ready

Ignored just so

Buckle up

Hold on tight

The gun went off

The other night

The hand of God

Was always there

And now we need

More than prayer

Hold on tight

Or not at all

This is the ride

Your journeys call

Step on the gas

Press the pedals

The killer virus

And real life devils

I am a deep thinker, lover of thoughts, a prolific writer sharing my words. In sharing I am caring. I am a member of the human race with an appetite to motivate, inspire, empower and provoke thinking. I stand for dignity in humanity. I am compelled to a vision that we are all here for a reason, life is like a deck of cards... “My cards. My deal. Life is learning the game!” #opism What is OPISM? I have come up with this term as my nick name is Op and they are my own quotes representing a moral doctorine belief system. Thus...Op+ism=Opism. #opism My Motto! “Dignity is Free” How I live...Embracing Dignity My professional experience is disbursed across industries from financial services and sales to that of personal and emergency care. As one who has trained and coached, mentored and taught; it has become a passion within to witness and feel joy in the achievement and success of others that I have been associated with. I am a lifelong learner and have created and facilitated various training materials. It is through such experience that I discovered the power of positive feedback in both professional and personal manners. I am self disciplined, accountable, determined, humble, loyal and adaptive; but above all I value my integrity! I am a decent human being. It is with my greatest pleasure to share with others the power of positive words.
