‼️I HATE MY JOB‼️

“I hate my #job”, I’ve often heard

So many people most disturbed

It saddens me to hear this phrase

So many others want such days

Where they can #work and earn a pay

Finding joy to make their way

It’s hard for me to think like this

When thoughts of work are so remiss

Service, sales, #marketing too

Compose the courses and train the new

Professional #careers, high end #fashion

So many more and some with passion

What I find so disturbing

Stands out and is perturbing

Many say without a thought

Often quote that they cannot

It crossed my mind and to my lips

Then I thought I’d write some tips…

‼️WHEN YOU’RE AT WORK…‼️

What you do every day

Is based upon what you say

As you rush around the floor

Muttering right out the door

If you rush and curse also

Honking at the traffic flow

Parking frantic times a tickin’

And grab a coffee to awaken

A quick “hello”, you fake a smile

Another day, another mile

All fired up at your station

What the hell you’re not mistaken

STOP right now and tell me so

Is this the way you want to go

Did you notice all around you

Many others there surround you

All the people that you pass

There are stories in the mass

Do you stop and see their eyes

Do you know they all have lives

Aren’t you lucky you have work

So many wish they had this perk

Is there pride in what you do

Are you happy working too

If I tell you to be happy

How would you reply to me

Think long and hard about it too

It should be easy if it’s true

So many others with much less

Would work so harder and in bliss

A happy smile, they would display

If only they could earn some pay

People matter everywhere

And you think of your despair

There is a change that you can make

So just be proud and not a fake
